Attorney Sammy Brown Jr.
Sammy is a licensed attorney for both Mississippi and Alabama. Sammy helps businesses and individuals navigate complex litigation across various industries. In addition to representing his clients in State and Federal courts, Sammy has also advocated for his clients in mediations and before government agencies such as the Mississippi Department of Medicaid.
Sammy’s previous clients have included Fortune 100 companies, large restaurant and grocery chains, various small businesses, physician practice groups, and various municipal entities. Sammy boasts a wide range of skills that help each client resolve disputes efficiently. He has substantial experience: (1) successfully arguing dispositive motions in various courts; (2) preparing for anticipated electronic discovery (e-discovery) and the ultimate production of electronically stored information (ESI); and (3) developing case strategy to best position matters for favorable settlement or trial.
While in law school, Sammy was elected as Student Bar Association (Formerly known as Law School Student Body Association) President and he also served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Space Law. He was a valued member of the law school’s Trial Advocacy Team, the first winner of the Inter-Professional Education Mock Trial, and the first winner of its distinguished “Most Outstanding Attorney Award.” Sammy is also a winner of the Steen Reynolds & Dalehite Trial Advocacy Competition and was a member of the Manfred Lachs Moot Court team, both as a competitor and coach.
In his spare time, Sammy enjoys spending time with his family, music, football, and all things Ole Miss.

Kaliya Brown, Paralegal
Kaliya Brown, a native of Canton, Mississippi, is a proud graduate of Germantown High School and The University of Southern Mississippi. Kaliya gained valuable experience working with Electronic Health Systems, an international health care systems company in the United States and Japan. Kaliya is passionate helping the firm provide exceptional support and service to its clientele.
When she’s not working, Kaliya enjoys shopping and spending quality time with family and friends.
Enez Melancon, Legal Assistant
Enez K. Melancon, migrated from Houma, Louisiana, as a dedicated professional with a robust background in business administration and office technology. She pursued her education at Southern University and earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from North Harris College in Houston, Texas.
Further enhancing her expertise, Enez obtained a certification in Office and Business Technology from Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi. With extensive experience as an HR, Administrative Assistant and clerical duties, Enez excels in client interaction and support, ensuring seamless administrative operations.
Beyond her professional endeavors, she is actively involved in her church community and enjoys sewing, reading, journaling, bike riding, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Andreau C. Brown, Billing Administrator
Andreau C. Brown is a native of Canton, MS, and a proud graduate of Canton Public High School. Andreau earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Mississippi and possesses a strong background in billing and financial management.
As Billing Administrator, she oversees client accounts, streamlines billing processes, and works diligently to maintain accuracy and compliance in all financial matters. Her commitment to excellence and client satisfaction makes her an invaluable part of the firm’s team.
Outside of work, Andreau enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
